Wow!
I guess. In the quest of trying to raise entrepreneurs/Youths, so many
questions sprang into my mind and the powerful and controversial of them all is
this question, Can Every Youth Become A Millionaire
Right here In Nigeria?
The
answer to this question is YES and NO.
Yes every Youth can become a millionaire, we are
currently about 200 million in population and Nigeria have the adequate
resource of over billions of dollars in her account, if shared definitely it
will go round for all its citizens like you and I. If all the money’s that are
stolen by our past and present politicians can be retrieved and shared
appropriately, it will also reach us all Nigerians including you and I .
if our government provides for we the citizens good economic and financial
platform where we can go get loans without collateral and with minimal interest
of returns, I guess every Nigerian on the streets of Nigeria will own up to at
least a million naira in his/her own personal account because every one of us
will be engaged doing one thing or the order. So with all this happening, it is
possible for every Youth to become a millionaire.
The No aspect of my answer is that, not all the
money stolen by these dubious politicians can be retrieved and shared with in
the Nigerian citizens; Nigerian government cannot just go to CBN to withdraw
its funds to start sharing to its citizens, that’s impossible. There are no
good government policies and good financial plans that will support Nigerians
to go to the banks to get loans for free on their own to start up their own
business, meaning that with the presence of these phenomenon, All Nigerians/Youths
cannot and can never become a millionaire.
SO THEN HOW CAN I BECOME A MILLIONAIRE RIGHT HERE IN NIGERIA?
My
brothers and my sisters, they say the truth is bitter but I don’t care if it is
bitter, I will dish it out because I have noticed with all my years of
expertise in raising entrepreneurs, I come to realize that Nigerian are stingy
to themselves and that is what me and my team are really trying to tackle. Most
of us reading this email today, the reason why we remain in abject poverty is
because we have refused to do the right things that we are suppose to do to
change our lives, even when you know that if you do it, it will cause changes.
We
must always spend money, so it depends on what you spend your money on. If
today for example, all I have in my account summed up totals N500,000 (Five
hundred thousand), I (a Nigerian)can decide to go buy a private car with the
money which is otherwise a liability, to become a big boy, so people will see
me as a car owner, but yet, my poverty is still attached to me, this talks
about spending your money on assets rather than liability. But if I take this
N500,000 (five hundred thousand), get a small piece of land, go buy stocks and
shares or do other investments which are otherwise known as assets, then in 2
years, my five hundred thousand can be multiplied to times two to give me 1
million naira. That is the culture most of us Nigerians do not have. In all our
